We need your help to support the work we do
The best way for sponsored events is to set up a JustGiving Page (let us know if you need help doing this).
We also have a fundraising flyer that you can amend with your story to tell your supporters a little bit more about the charity. Additionally, we have a selection of fundraising items, buckets, pens, leaflets, t-shirts, running vests etc. that might help you with your event.
If you would like to raise funds for us then please contact us with a list of what items you need, the delivery address, details of what you are planning, the date and location. Please also feel free to spread the word about your fundraising activities too – through our Facebook page or via Twitter.
What your fundraising could pay for:
- £50 will pay for an acapella (a plastic device to help with physiotherapy)
- £150 – £200 will Pay for exercise equipment (like trampolines, exercise bikes etc.)
- £500 will sponsor a researcher to attend a conference and write a paper
- £650 will pay for a stand at different conferences like the British Thoracic Society
- £1000 – £2000 will pay for an important medical article to be made free to the public
- £3000 will pay for our annual summer family day
There are several ways to donate. The easiest way is via JustGiving.
Alternatively, you could support us on a regular basis by standing order or payroll. Please contact us regarding setting up a standing order.

Give a Car is a UK based fundraising organisation that organises car donation for good causes in the UK, like The PCD Family Support Group.
They provide a FREE service which is available throughout the UK, and can work with you together in the following ways:
- They can arrange the collection of the vehicle at no cost to you.
- Depending on its age and condition, they can either recycle it at an authorised facility or send it to a salvage auction.
Scrap donations raise an average of £100 for the charity, with auction cars often raising much more. Since Giveacar was set up in 2010, the organisation has raised over £950,000 for over 800 charities!
